With the first season of MTV's Jersey Shore being such a success it is no wonder MTV is doing whatever possible to hype up the second season of fist pumping fun. To build anticipation around the season premiere this coming Thursday, a Facebook game and iPhone app are being released and will feature the shows "club heads" in cartoon form.
The Facebook game is a Jersey-Shore-lover’s dream come true. In 1990's graphics players are challenged to battle each other in pickle and tanning lotion throwing competitions.
The game is set to debut today and grow as the show continues to evolve through the season. From previews it appears that the game will also feature managing money and jobs, two interesting tasks that proved quite difficult for the cast.
Following the release of the Facebook game will be an iPhone app titled "Spread Snooki". Unlike the suggestive title, the app will simply let iPhone users superimpose Snooki's face or fist pumping arm on to photos they take or have in their iPhone library.
With the first season of Jersey Shore such a success it seems almost impossible for the second season to flop. MTV is making sure that doesnt happen by creating as much press as possible. With the second season set to get underway in the coming week, we can be sure to expect more parodies, spoofs and the likes of the Jersey Shore crowd.
